David Kendall
UX Design Principal | AT&T
David Kendall is a UX design principal at AT&T, where he leads education and advocacy efforts as part of the design systems and standards team. Previously, he led digital design and content teams managing product launches, offers and seasonal campaigns. Before joining AT&T, he established Kendall Ross, a retail brand design consultancy. Over the course of 12 years, he grew it into an award-winning agency.
David started his career as an art director in Tokyo and has worked in a variety of design organizations and capacities ranging from small creative studios to global design consultancies. David has taught at many institutions and has held leadership positions in numerous design organizations.
He graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in graphic design and Japanese language and literature. He received his MFA in design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
