Meet the Instructor

Julian Peterson

Julian is an instructor and programmer who is passionate about setting up students for success by providing useful skills, not just credentials. In addition to teaching and assisting UW Continuum College courses, Julian has worked as an English as a Foreign Language instructor, university tutor and international fellowship program director. He's worked with diverse groups of learners of many ages both internationally and in the United States. Julian earned his bachelor's degree in English at the University of Washington and is currently pursuing a post-baccalaureate computer science degree at Oregon State University.
