Manuela Noske
Community Manager, Translators Without Borders
Manuela Noske is a seasoned program manager with 20 years of experience working on globalization, localization and language technology in the private and public sectors. From working on the global availability of the Windows operating system to partnering with Native American communities on enabling their languages, her purpose is to remove barriers to communication and address digital inequalities.
Her global skillset includes leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, planning and executing complex projects and programs, and building bridges across communities, organizations and sectors. Manuela holds an M.A. in African languages from the University of Cologne, Germany, and a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Chicago. She is currently the community manager for the non-profit organization Translators Without Borders.
