Sara Levin
Founder, Ardea Strategies
Sara Levin is proud of her three-decade career in nonprofit and public sector service in Seattle. In government and nonprofit philanthropy roles, she led teams supporting cross-sector and community efforts to address homelessness, poverty and education inequities. In early 2023, Levin jumped into the world of consulting and teaching.
She founded Ardea Strategies to bring her facilitation and planning skills to mission-driven organizations. Levin also joined the Evans School as a distinguished practitioner, living out her dream of teaching students who believe in the power of public and nonprofit service.
Before consulting and teaching, Levin was chief impact officer at United Way of King County. For 10 years, she led United Way’s grantmaking, direct service, public policy and volunteer engagement strategies. Prior to that, Levin worked in the City of Seattle Budget Office and Human Services Department. She’s a 2004 Leadership Tomorrow graduate and is on Leadership Tomorrow’s Board of Directors. Levin holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance.
